Wholeness

James writes of his desire that we may be ‘… perfect and complete, lacking in nothing …’,  James 1: 4.  Today we refer to this as wholeness, which is linked to knowing who we are, our sense of identity.

Leading as sons and daughters looks at how this orphan thinking can emerge in adulthood.  I found its pointers helpful to identify my negative thinking that is not in line with God’s opinion of me.  As we embrace the journey of getting to know ourselves, we can identify and remove orphan thinking and behaviour.  Then we can more wholeheartedly receive our sonship, and be comfortable working alongside others.

Healing & deeper healing for the human spirit focuses on our spirits, which can also be wounded.  The health of our spirits affects both our souls and our bodies.  But, just as with our souls and bodies, we can pray healing into a wounded spirit.  The most complete wholeness comes from soundness of both spirit and soul.
