VOX Magazine

VOX is a quarterly magazine.  The word VOX is Latin for ‘voice’.  It is designed to give a voice for Christians in Ireland from many different types of churches and backgrounds.  It is a place to share and debate, to encourage and challenge one another and to explore what God is doing in our land.
VOX is provided free of charge, but you can subscribe at www.vox.ie to have it delivered to your door.  You can also pick up a copy here at ChristianBooks.ie or in many churches.  If your church or group doesn’t yet get a supply from VOX, they would love to hear from you.

I recommend some books in each quarter’s edition of VOX, usually about three titles.

UCB Ireland Radio

UCB Ireland broadcasts a positive message of hope on 24 hour radio.  This hope comes through great music, interviews, fun, teaching, discussion, and Bible readings.
You can listen to UCB Ireland Radio online by selecting Listen Now at www.ucbireland.ie, on Virgin Media Channel 918, on Sky Channel 0214, or with the UCB app available free for all smartphones.

I recommend a different book each week on the Early Evening with Vincent Hughes, which broadcasts from 4pm to 7pm, Monday to Friday.

Simply Divine on South East Radio

The Christian Media Trust broadcasts a number of programmes on South East Radio.
The Trust is an interdenominational body, and you can read their inspiring story at christianmediatrust.ie.
If you are not in the South East of Ireland, you can still listen to South East Radio live online at southeastradio.ie.

I recommend a different book, approximately monthly, on the ‘Simply Divine’ programme with presenter Maria Colfer.  ‘Simply Divine’ airs from 10.04am to 10.30am each Saturday.
