Everything God has called us to do, He can do better, infinitely better.  It's obvious that He did not choose us for what we can do for Him, but He chose us because He loves us.  He is interested in our dreams and our desires.  While this includes our dreams while we sleep, it's our life's dreams that He seems to like most.

In John 14 - 16, Jesus invites His disciples to dream, though not about building their own empires or creating some self-centred gospel.

We were created to co-labour with God, seeing dreams and visions fulfilled.  The fulfillment of dreams is, in part, our reason for being.  God is looking for the God-like dreams of His people to shape the course of history on planet earth.  This is our privilege.
