tPt - the Passion translation is a new dynamic-equivalent and heart-level translation that expresses God’s passionate heart of love to this generation.  It uses Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic manuscripts, merging the emotion and life-changing truth of God’s Word.

So why another translation?  Many wonderful versions of our Bible now grace the shelves of our homes and bookshops.  So why add one more?  The reason is simple:  God longs to have his Word expressed in every language in a way that unlocks the passion of His heart.  The goal of this work is to trigger inside every reader an overwhelming response to the truth of the Bible, revealing the deep mysteries of the Scriptures in the love language of God, the language of the heart.

The Passion Translation is truly alive, constantly unveiling the heart of the Father.  It is the most exciting thing to happen to Bible translation in my lifetime. Bill Johnson

Are you hungry for God and want to know Him on a deeper level?  tPt - the Passion translation will help you to encounter His heart and discover what God has for your life.

Dr Brian & Candice Simmons

Brian studied linguistics and Bible translation principles through New Tribes Mission.  He co-translated the Paya-Kuna New Testament for the Paya-Kuna people of Panama.

After a dramatic conversion to Christ, Brian knew that God was calling him to go to the unreached people of the world to present the gospel of God's grace.  He and Candice and their family spent nearly eight years in the tropical rain forest of the Darien Province of Panama, church planting and translating.  After leaving the jungle, they were instrumental in planting a thriving church in New England, USA.

Their teaching gifts have opened doors in many nations for the message of awakening and revival.  For forty years they have laboured together to present Christ in His fulness wherever God sends them.  They witnessed a revival that swept through their jungle village when they were serving as missionaries, and saw many converted to Jesus Christ.  This ruined them for status quo Christianity.  They have been married for over forty-two years and boast regularly of their three children and six grandchildren.

Recently Brian & Candice were inspired to launch this new dynamic version of the Scriptures encompassing the early Aramaic manuscripts along with the traditional Greek and Hebrew texts.
