Healing & wholeness

It is God’s desire that we embrace all that Jesus won for us at Calvary.  This includes healing and wholeness.  Indeed the one Greek word, ‘sozo’, is variously translated into English in the New Testament as saved, healed, made whole, and delivered.  But we tend to separate out all these aspects of salvation in a way that God didn’t intend.

Healng & wholeness categoryWe can learn much from those who have broken through to pioneer for greater physical healing in our day.  Their stories will encourage us to follow them with courage.  They did not just pray for individuals, but pioneered healing ministries.  But being tripartite beings, neither body, soul nor spirit operates in isolation.  Sometimes physical healing does not come until we embrace freedom from bondages that hold us back.  These titles give very practical teaching.  They also share testimonies that will inspire hope that we can be set free.  Aslan’s Place is a ministry focused particularly on generational deliverance.  So their titles give invaluable teaching in this area.

Titles on wholeness are about the wounds that obscure our identities as adopted sons of God.  These are often from events that happened in our childhood.  They can cause us to think and act as orphans.  But we can be made whole.  Blessing involves in particular blessing our spirits.  Instead of passing on the patterns of wounds that have come down the generations to us, we can instead establish generational blessings.  Let’s press in for full healing and wholeness in its many aspects!
